A Perfect Circle - Emotive

Emotive (2004, coincidiendo con las elecciones presidenciales de EEUU) de A perfect circle es un disco de contenido político, eso es lo primero que hay que tener en mente al bajar este disco, el cual, a mí parecer dista tanto musicalmente como en letras de sus dos álbumes anteriores.

Ciertamente permanecen las composiciones hipnóticas, complejas y sobrecogedoras, sin embargo hay algo que hace que este disco sea distinto. Tal vez sea porque casi todas sus canciones son covers, a excepción de "Counting bodies like sheep to the rythm of the war drums", la cual es la continuación de la canción "Pet", del disco Thirteenth step.
